Cookies Policy

COOKIE POLICY OF THE VINYL VIBE ONLINE STORE

Effective from 7 September 2026

§ 1. General Information

  1. This Cookie Policy sets out the rules for the use of cookies and similar technologies in the Vinyl Vibe online store available at:

§ 2. What Are Cookies?

  1. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on the User’s device when visiting a website.

  2. They may be stored on, among other devices:

a) a computer,
b) a smartphone,
c) a tablet,
d) another device that enables access to the Internet.

  1. Cookies may contain, among other things:

a) a session identifier,
b) information about Store settings,
c) information about shopping basket contents,
d) information about consent given,
e) browser or device identifiers,
f) information about how the website is used.

  1. In addition to conventional cookies, the Store may use similar technologies, such as local storage, online identifiers, tags or pixels.

§ 3. Basis for the Use of Cookies

  1. The rules governing the storage of information on the User’s device and access to information already stored on that device arise, in particular, from Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law.

  2. Cookies that are necessary for the proper functioning of the Store or for providing a service expressly requested by the User may be used without separate consent to the extent permitted by law.

  3. Other cookies, in particular:

a) analytical cookies,
b) functional cookies that are not necessary,
c) marketing cookies,

are used after obtaining the User’s appropriate consent.

  1. If information collected through cookies constitutes personal data, its processing is based on the relevant legal basis under the GDPR, as described in the Privacy Policy.

§ 4. Types of Cookies Used in the Store

1. Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the Store’s essential functions to work properly.

They may be used, in particular, for:

a) managing the shopping basket,
b) moving between the stages of an Order,
c) logging in to an Account,
d) maintaining the User’s session,
e) remembering privacy settings and cookie consent preferences,
f) ensuring security,
g) preventing misuse,
h) ensuring that forms work properly,
i) supporting payment and delivery processes.

Necessary cookies do not require consent if their use is essential to provide a service requested by the User.

Blocking them in your browser settings may cause some parts of the Store to function incorrectly.

2. Functional Cookies

These cookies remember settings selected by the User and adapt the website to their preferences.

They may be used to remember, among other things:

a) the preferred language,
b) interface settings,
c) other settings that make the Store easier to use.

If they are not necessary to provide a service requested by the User, they are activated only after consent has been given.

These cookies help us understand how Users use the Store.

For these purposes, the Store may use tools including Google Analytics and analytical tools provided by the Shoper platform provider.

Analytical cookies that are not necessary are used only after appropriate consent has been given.

4. Marketing Cookies

These cookies may be used for advertising and marketing activities, in particular for:

a) measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns,
b) limiting how often the same advertisement is displayed,
c) creating audience groups,
d) remarketing,
e) displaying advertisements that are more relevant to the User’s interests.

Marketing cookies may originate from third-party advertising technology providers.

They are used only after obtaining the User’s consent.

Rejecting marketing cookies does not mean that the User will stop seeing advertisements. The advertisements may simply be less relevant to their activity.

§ 5. First-Party and Third-Party Cookies

  1. The Store may use:

First-Party Cookies

These are cookies stored directly by the Vinyl Vibe domain or the system operating the Store.

Third-Party Cookies

These are cookies associated with services provided by external providers and used by the Store.

  1. External providers may process information obtained through their technologies in accordance with their own privacy policies.

§ 6. Shoper / cyber_Folks

  1. The Vinyl Vibe Store operates using Shoper software provided by cyber_Folks S.A.

  2. The Store’s software uses cookies necessary for the operation of the online store.

  3. The software provider may also use its own analytical cookies related to the development of the Shoper platform and the measurement of system performance, in accordance with the information shown to the User in the consent panel.

  4. Cookies requiring consent are activated only after the User has made the appropriate choice.

§ 7. Google Analytics

  1. After obtaining the User’s consent, the Store may use Google Analytics, a service provided by companies within the Google group.

  2. This tool helps the website operator analyse, among other things:

a) the number of visits,
b) traffic sources,
c) pages visited,
d) how the Store is used,
e) basic technical information about the device and browser,
f) the effectiveness of individual website elements.

  1. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers.

  2. To the extent that consent is required, the tool is activated only after consent has been given in the cookie panel.

  3. The User may withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie Settings”.

§ 8. Google and Facebook — Account Login

  1. The Store may allow Users to log in using an account with:

a) Google,
b) Facebook.

  1. If the User chooses this login method, they may be redirected to an external service, or an integration necessary to complete the authentication process may be activated.

  2. Providers of these services may use their own cookies in accordance with their privacy policies.

  3. Cookies necessary solely to perform the login function selected by the User may be used to the extent permitted by law. Other cookies requiring consent remain subject to the User’s choices.

§ 9. Consent Management Panel

  1. On their first visit to the Store, the User is shown a cookie panel.

  2. The User may:

a) accept only necessary cookies,
b) customise consent for individual categories,
c) accept all cookies.

  1. By default, before the User makes a choice, only cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the Store should be active.

  2. Not consenting to optional cookies does not prevent the use of the Store’s essential functions or the completion of a purchase.

  3. Consent may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

  1. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of activities carried out before consent was withdrawn.

§ 10. Cookie Storage Period

  1. Depending on their type, cookies may be:

Session Cookies

Stored only for the duration of a session and deleted when the session ends or the browser is closed.

Persistent Cookies

Stored for a specific period defined in the cookie’s parameters or until deleted by the User.

  2. Current information about cookie categories and consent settings is available in the:

“Cookie Settings” panel.

  1. Information about specific technologies used by external providers may also be available in their own privacy or cookie policies.

§ 11. Changing Browser Settings

  1. Independently of the consent panel, the User may manage cookies through their browser settings.

  2. Depending on the browser used, the available options may include:

a) deleting stored cookies,
b) blocking all cookies,
c) blocking third-party cookies,
d) receiving a notification before a cookie is stored,
e) automatically deleting cookies when the browser is closed.

  1. Detailed instructions are available in the settings or help section of the browser used.

  2. The website operator intentionally does not include detailed instructions for specific browser versions in this Policy, because cookie management options may change with software updates.

  3. Blocking necessary cookies through browser settings may prevent some Store functions from working properly, particularly the shopping basket, login or Order placement process.

§ 12. Personal Data

  1. Not all information stored in a cookie constitutes personal data in itself.

  2. In certain circumstances, however, online identifiers and information about the User’s activity may constitute personal data or be combined with other information that makes it possible to identify the User.

  3. If personal data is processed through cookies, the rules governing such processing are also set out in the Vinyl Vibe Privacy Policy.

  4. Depending on the tool used, data may be processed by external entities or transferred outside the European Economic Area under the conditions described in the Privacy Policy.

§ 13. Current List of Tools

  1. The technologies used in the Store may change as the website develops, the software provider changes or new integrations are introduced.

  2. The currently active categories of optional cookies and the available settings are shown in the “Cookie Settings” panel.

  3. If a new tool requiring consent is introduced, the website operator will ensure that it is activated in accordance with the User’s choice and will update the information available in the Store accordingly.

§ 14. Changes to the Cookie Policy

  1. This Cookie Policy may be updated, in particular, in the event of:

a) changes in the law,
b) changes in the technologies used by the Store,
c) the addition or removal of external integrations,
d) changes in the way consent is managed.
