Single oak vinyl record shelf - Brooklyn Indie

RAW REBELLION · BROOKLYN INDIE

Your wall. Your music gallery.

Brooklyn Indie is a wall-mounted vinyl record shelf from the RAW REBELLION collection, inspired by New York’s independent music scene and Brooklyn’s creative energy. It lets you showcase your favourite albums and turn their covers into a personal decorative feature — without taking up floor space.

Inspired by independent sounds

Small clubs, alternative sounds, artistic spaces and individual style — this atmosphere inspired a shelf with a visually light, simple yet distinctive form. Brooklyn Indie is for people who see music as a mood, an aesthetic and a way to express themselves.

Its musical reference points include LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear, Interpol and TV on the Radio. Their work brings together indie rock, alternative music, an urban pulse and creative freedom.

Your favourite covers on display

The shelf is designed to display vinyl records and album covers. Give pride of place to the record you’re playing, a special edition or an album you always return to. Create your own gallery and change its character with the music you listen to.

Solid wood. Handcrafted.

I handcraft Brooklyn Indie from solid oak. The natural grain gives each piece its own individual character, while the minimalist form suits modern apartments, lofts and cosy interiors.

A small piece with plenty of character

In your living room, listening corner, bedroom or home studio, the shelf gives music a visible place and reflects the character of your collection. Sometimes a single cover on the wall can say more than an entire shelving unit.

Brooklyn Indie — independent spirit, natural wood and a place for covers that deserve to be seen.

SOLID OAK · NATURAL OILS

Natural wood. Lasting character.

The cabinet is made entirely from solid oak. Valued for its strength, durability and timeless beauty, it provides a natural setting for your turntable and vinyl collection.

No two pieces are exactly alike.

The grain pattern, colour and texture give each cabinet its own individual character. These natural variations make your piece one of a kind. Individual cabinets may differ from the one shown in the photographs — this is a characteristic of natural wood.

A finish that brings out the beauty of oak.

The surface is treated with high-quality natural oils, which bring out the depth of colour, highlight the grain and help protect the wood during everyday use. The oiled finish preserves the natural appearance of oak and makes the surface pleasant to the touch.

FIVE COLOUR FINISHES · YOUR STYLE

Choose a shade for your space.

From light, natural oak to deep, dark finishes — choose a colour that complements your interior and audio equipment. Every option is made from solid oak. The colour names refer to the finish, not the wood species.

Available colour finishes

• Natural oak
• Golden oak
• Dark walnut
• Rosewood
• Wenge

Colour in photographs and natural wood

The photographs are illustrative and show finishes based on our colour samples. The actual shade may differ slightly from what you see on screen. Your monitor or phone settings, lighting and the natural texture of the wood all affect how the colour appears.

Each piece is made from solid oak, so subtle variations in shade, texture and grain pattern are natural characteristics of the material. These differences give your piece its own unique character.

EASY ASSEMBLY · FITTINGS INCLUDED

A few simple steps and you’re ready.

I include assembly fittings with your order. Assembly is straightforward and usually takes around 10 minutes, so you can quickly prepare a place for your music.

Wall shelves

The shelves are supplied with wall plugs for mounting. The simple fixing system lets you hang your shelf and start arranging your favourite albums in no time.

Before installation, check that the supplied wall plugs are suitable for your wall type. Fixings must be chosen to suit the wall material and the expected load on the shelf.

Furniture with legs

For transport, the legs are removed and clearly numbered to help you match them to the correct positions. Assembly fittings are included in the package — simply attach the legs according to the numbering to get your furniture ready for use.

Brooklyn Indie — your discoveries deserve a place of their own

A distinctive guitar sound, an unexpected melody and a song that finds you when you least expect it. The indie spirit is about discovering music your own way — through a friend’s recommendation, a gig in a small venue or an album whose artwork catches your eye. These encounters build the most personal record collections.

Brooklyn Indie invites you to share that story in your own space. The wall shelf gives a favourite record cover a place on the wall — like a small work of art filled with sounds and memories. Display the album you are listening to now, or change the records with your mood and each new musical discovery.

Discover the musical inspiration behind this model. Play the selected playlist while exploring the shelf or planning your vinyl display wall. Find a new sound, return to a favourite melody and bring the mood of Brooklyn Indie into your home.
